Toys 101 - The Guide, Part 5: Restraints

Welcome to the fifth part of the Undressed Toys Guide, where we are about to explore different types of restraints.

Why restraints?
The short answer is that it is a practice of relaxation, of letting go, or surrender and when it comes to sex there is few things, if any, as powerful as the practice of surrender. With surrender comes trust which is another very powerful practice. Another things that restraints can support is coming back to your body, meaning moving from your head into your body and thereby becoming fully present of the now. Being tied up can for many also give a sense of being held and safe which is a very beautiful thing.
Set your rules
If you are new to restraints make sure to set some rules such as eg. only hand or only feet (if that is feels good for you) and decide on a safe word so that you both know that anyone of you can stop when you want.
How to tie someone up?
Well, there is no right or wrong here, so explore what feels exciting, fun and sexy for you. Below are some different options of restraints to explore and we highly recommend to start with what you already have at home

A Tie (no link)
It doesn't get much simpler than using his tie. To be honest it is also probably the sexiest. He taking his tie off, to tie her up. Yummy.
Made to create a soft and sensual feeling. Especially good if this is the first time.
You can use the rope just as you use the tie or a silk band. There is also what is often called conscious rope which is a bigger and deeper practice that can be very powerful. If you are curious to explore concious rope we highly recommend check out the workshops by our wonderful friend Karen.

There are so many different options when it comes to handcuffs, first of all different materials such as furry, leather, metal and then different designs.
